Randi,

Isn't it funny how we all react differently with side effects? Diarrhea for me was unbearable,as was the nausea. It was a 24 hour deal. The worst was when I began Met and had to force food down my throat or else my IR got extremely bad.My doctor took me off the met as I was getting dehydrated from the constant diarrhea.I was already passing pure bile...not even diarrhea.

Can you just try this...try eating really small things...several times a day. Or..try this...I know many dislike it...but juice veggies and drink,drink...it will fill you up and provide you with a chalk full of vitamins.

Do it before you get hungry.Take some peanut butter even on a spoon,....that fills u up and drink alot of water....fills you up too..I hope in your case it does...I know for me it does not fill me up.I am always ravished.MAybe you are nervous and feel the need to eat...just take some celery..put some cheese on it and munch...you need to eat good foods.Veggie juices really fill you up.I do this when I have already exceeded my quota for calories for the day or before sitting down to dinner.

Are you eating good foods?/or are you eating just anything? What about exercise? Are you doing some? While I exercise I have no appetite and not any for at least two hours after,,,but then I am just famished.

I can understand your feelings about the diarrhea and nausea for keeping your appetite down, but I would err caution on having no appetite at all,as then you will feel worse.Been there. Not wanting to eat it is not great for IR. You know you have to eat regularily and make sure you are getting the minimum calories per day. I know what you mean by saying a little nausea would not be so bad for you,as then you feel you wouldn't eat,but I also have concern for you when you mention this.I guess it is because I stuggled with nausea and to me I don't know what is worse....the nausea or other symptoms that I have...as my nausea was so unbearable at times. It was like having the flu all the time.

This pcos can be a roller coaster ride with appetite. Please take care of yourself and write me anytime you want to talk. I've had so many things that seem strange for me,when in fact, they are natural. Not having diarrhea on Gluc is something that really amazes me and then I wonder if it is really working and I should not question that. I wish I could be of more help Randi:)
