Hi Victoria,

For a couple months now, I have been taking Metformin, a generic of Glucophage, to treat my PCOS. As it was explained to me, Metformin is given to men and women with diabetes, but it was shown to help ovaries be less polycystic in women with PCOS. Although there were some side effects in the beginning (diarrhea), they have lessened now. There's a good site from a hospital that is doing a study on it...here's the link. Hope this is what you are looking for and that you find it useful. It's geared more towards women w/ PCOS who are TTC.
