Can you have kids if you have PCOS

Carrie,

PCOS does not mean that you definitely can not have children. While it is a challenge for many women, involving medications, diet, homone monitoring and supplementation, and a lot of hope, many women with PCOS do have children. It is true that many can not, as well. But, I would hate for someone to write off their chances without trying, if they want to. I understand not wanting to be a mother--I'm on the fence right now about whether to try or not.

You indicated that your desire to not have kids is because you expect to not be able to, not because you don't see that role having a place in your life. I would encourage you not to give up before you try, if that is what you want.
