Hi Lynn

the dose is pretty individual. And the dose for you is that at which you get an effect. That can range between 500 mg up to 3 g a day. Most women taken in the range of 1 - 2 g. Some women have even found that lower dose is more effective than higher. I reckon you need to monitor what happens and if you get regular at a lower dose and symptoms reduce, that is already ok for you. If you don't get effect at a lower dose, a high dose could be tried. There is one lady here (Sonnet)- I think she is on 3 g a day and only on that dose has she seen benefit (and that was after a year of taking it).

I am on 2000 mg/day.\

Best wishes

Sally
