i'm so sorry. people say stupid things when they don't know what else to say, or when they just don't understand. i have been aware, since the age of 14 when i was diagnosed w/ pcos, that i probably couldn't have children. because of this, i think, i've never wanted them. sour grapes, you know. unfortunately, i can't fool myself all of the time and the fact that i CAN'T makes me feel unwomanly-not to mention the hair and weight. i got married 1 1/2 years ago and, i think, if another person asks me when i'm going to have a "bun in the oven", i will kill them. i've actually started saying, "well, actually, i can't have children, but thanks for asking."

i guess i want you to know that you are not alone. pcos, and everything that goes along with it, is something that most people don't understand. but we do.

remember to breathe, and to relax. you can't control what happens, so just let it happen as it will. and (though i know it's not the same)anyone who wants children as badly as you seem to would make a wonderful parent and can always adopt. i wish you luck and the patience to deal with all of the insensitive people out there.

:) hugs
