Thanks for your concern and well wishes Barb. My mother had a
hystorectomy a few years back due to a battle with endometriosis and
fibroids (most of the women in my family for whatever reason have had to
have hystorectomy's). I was diagnosed with PCOS in March 2000 ( I take
metformin and spironolactone...and have been given a variety of pain
meds as well...throughout time). Have had a funky battle with facial
hair and thinning scalp...and was diagnosed with adult onset diabetes in
1998:-( I have had a constant battle (since age 11 when I started
menstrating) with horrible cramps (which hurt so bad that it would cause
me to vomit...and would keep me home from school)...now I have no period
(i think due to depo shot) but continue with the battle with
cramps...sometimes I have good days and sometimes I have bad. It does
at times remind me of labor pains (not horribly severe ones....but it
still feels like labor-type pains:-| I am sorry to anyone that I have
offended on this board....but when I get the chance to occasionally
smoke weed it does releive me from some of the painfull moments...and
eases some of the discomfort of painfull intercourse when it is for what
ever reason painfull (not in my vaginal area...in my abdomen where my
ovaries are...and near my cervix area). I don't rely in any way on
mj....but am very greatfull when I am able to recieve it's benifits. I
have only posted very few messages on this forum in the last couple
years that I have followed it....and it seems as if my posts are greated
with either no comment or acknowlegment of anyone on the board....or
someone takes issue with my question...yikes....lol.
Peace and light,

I don't see where you've tried anything but Tylenol and Motrin, OTC medications, from your first post. You talked about pain medication in this post, but nothing specific as to what you've taken. What does your doctor say? I also have a hard time believing that it affects your cramping pain, but you don't get the 'munchies' or 'fog' on it. If the pain is that bad, you'd have to do a lot of it to get the pain to go away correct? Unless the pain was only an hour or so, you'd have to do some pot for a couple days, if you like others on here with ovulation pain.

You have to know that those sort of questions are going to come up and that responses may not always be what you want with this position. You also have to know that not everyone sees marijuana as an innocent drug. Cocaine btw, is an herb or poppy grown in Afghanistan that God also created for some reason.
