There is a pill with THC, the active ingredient in pot. I don't know the
brand name. The pot advocates say it's not as effective as it does not have
all the active ingredients. Others say it is effective.
It's certainly possible that your friend died from complications from
excessive marijuana use. However, thousands more/year die in auto accidents.
There are those who have problems, and those who don't, no matter what the
drug, legal or illegal. If that rationale were used for all prescription
drugs, one reaction and it's pulled, then we'd have no pharmaceuticals
available. Likewise, the argument others have used pointing out one or two
cases where someone used it without problems is not conclusive or effective
either.
I haven't advocated use or non-use, throughout this discussion. I've just
asked questions regarding rationale, and pointed out flaws in arugments. I
have opinions, but I've stayed neutral in this discussion, and I intend to
stay that way.
