I recently had an ultra sound which also showed a 6cm cyst on my right ovary. I since have been sent for blood work for two test but am unsure for what they were testing. And will have a formal pelvic ultra sound in a couple of days. The other night I was in soo much pain I could not sit up or move and it lasted @ an hour. I would like some explaination as to what to expect in the course of treatment. I would like a hestorectomy because I have had painful abnormal periods for @ 4 years now. I already have my 2 children (ages 10 & 12) and my husband has had his vascetamy for almost 10 years.
