Many women have complained of hairloss,;myself included. Although many will question my remark that mine has regrown and I do have a full head of hair now ,I do believe the hairloss can be reversed.Problem is..I really and truly don't know how this happened .I have been on a myriad of different natural remedies, homeopathic and the like.I still have high levels of testosterone and androgen index is high. Now furthermore...with losing 200+ hairs a day...that is substantial over time.I was losing that amount as well and frantic during my teens and adult life.I was told it was normal, but it took many, many years before I truly noticed the male pattern type baldness and the thin hair which was see through.

I do believe there is hope for getting your hair to *stop* shedding, but I don't neccessarily know if what you lost can be regrown, although this has happened in my case.As I said before..I honestly cannot tell you which remedy for certain has helped me with the hairloss.I've sent before and after picture to some on this forum that I have gotten to know well to give them some hope.If I don't know you well enough,I am embaressed to show the pics of me with the extreme hairloss.I resorted to wearing a wig at a certain point.,but I also had other problems at the time with my thyroid..so who knows.

I started sprouting new hairs all over..baby hairs. The texture now changed from being very fine to more of a texture type that is so thick that I have to have it cut in several layers..something I could have never dreamed of before when it was so thin.I was lucky then to have the one layer.

don't despair...there are meds to stop the hairloss...Spirolactone is one that is good. Others have had good results with bcp's and other meds.Sometimes it is the IR that causes the hairloss and when that is under control..hairloss can subside considerably.

I know how devestating this is for you and wish I could help you out more, but I suggest searching through all the archives for ideas on the hairloss and you will have much to go on. wishing you the best. Barb
