Hi Joy, Yes it is safe.I asked my doctor,but-

Can you do me a favor and try a capsule of cayenne pepper instead and tell me what you think.This has rid me of menstral cramps completely.It has blood thinning qualities and is a very good supplement that can be used for pain. I find this much better than advil for many pain symptoms. You may be surprised. I always take cayenne pepper before my period is about to start and never get cramps anymore. >
