Usually the characteristic traits of PCOS -poly meaning "many" is pearly cysts on ovaries.A string of pearly cysts on ovaries. Have they done a hormonal profile on you?Checking your levels. There are other reasons for skipped,missed periods. Yours may be related,but does not fit the classic description of PCOS. It would not hurt to search the archives for this.It will give you peace of mind.However,a thorough work-up is needed to confirm the diagnosis of PCOS>elevated testosterone,androgens etc. Bring this up at your next visit with your doctor. Be well
