Ok, which way is it, does obesity cause PCOS or, PCOS cause obesity. I am so confused, I have been overweight all of my life, and my doctor thinks that may contribute to me having PCOS, i haven't been diagnosed yet, but she says that I hold many of the characteristics for PCOS...so if someone could help me understand which part of the equation is the variable that would be great!!! I'm 19, 5'8 and 306...working on losing that though!!! Working very hard in fact, Dr. Atkins is a genius!!!!! Any help and answers would be great thanks...
