Wait a minute !! Your fertility doctors SHOULD HAVE recognized the PCOS and initiate treatment before starting you on Clomid. Anyone who skips periods needs to get that in order first. If you skip periods, you aren't ovualting, and you are throwing a lot of money down the drain. I'm sorry, but I am shocked at how many folks seeking fertility treatments find out after a long period of time they have PCOS. It is one of the most common causes of PCOS. If you suspect you have PCOS, ask for the full workup and then ask for either a reproductive endocrinologist or someone who is up to date on PCOS management. Just taking Clomid is a waste of time and money until these other things are straightened out.
