Hi Tina,
THe first step is getting properly diagnosed. And that can take some
time and you have now done that!
Second is to get as much info as you can about this thing! And it can be
managed.
You may need to see an endocrinologist. An endo can also help in
management of your hypothyroid (also very common with PCOS). Need to
find a good one who can work with you long-term and who is knowledgeable
and supportive. However, need not be an endocrinologist. The doctor
who diagnosed you may also be helpful.
Are you being treated? Metformin? Diet (lower carb)and exercise plan?
Things will get better from here.
