I've been dealing with this problem for a few years now.
I totally eliminated refined sugars...take dicetel with the
glucophage..added evening primrose oil with thyme and rosemary and take
hawthorn tea...all reccomendations from the doc.Within three months,.or
maybe less..I have NO tummy.
I don't know what your condition is..many have apple shapes..carry all
their weight in the middle..but mine was like an inflating, deflating
balloon.Even at my sickest(I have had many health problems and still do
aside from pcos/IR),when I weighted under 80 pounds...I looked as if I
was one of those poor starving kids in Africa.
According to my doctor,..sugar(even a little cookie)..was fermenting in
my gut.Oh..and no more bread at all.I am very sensitive to certain
carbs.'
This has taken me years.I would ask your doctor to feel your tummy to
see if it is air,fat or water. That's what he did to me.Apparantly,I had
a lot of air and water.
I was taking the evening primrose oil only before menestration and now
am told to take it daily.
The hawthorn tea is mildly diuretic. The dicetel is reccomended for
IBS,,helps get rid of air and aids digestion for me.I used to bloat
after diarrhea when on the Gluc and now I have no side effects.I would
bloat in my abdomen after a small glass of water.I,too looked pregnant
and was even asked a couple times how far along I was.
Again,I would ask your own doctor about the use of any natural herbs and
supplements.Never try on your own.
