Not all of us are on Metformin. For a while, Metformin worked for me and none of my tests came back with a problem. The women's health list could answer your question, but it can take up to 10 to 14 days for it to work. Can you tell us whether its Provera, Prometrium, dosage, length of time you have taken it?

I notice that all you American chicks are taking Metformin. But that is an anti-insulin drug - does it work to help your pcos if you are not glucose resistant?

I'm a bit worried because I've not a had a period in 5 months. I've also been given Progesterone to bring on a 'bleed' but its not working so far. Could someone who has access to a doctor advise me?
