Overweight...contributing factor to PCOS??

I am overweight, could that be a contributing factor to PCOS, i haven't
been tested for it...I will be going to the doctor in a few weeks
though, as soon as my insurance is re-enstated. I was just wondering if
obesity contributes to PCOS, and not vice versa...I think I am
experiencing some of the symptoms of PCOS and i am 19...anyone that
could help me, it would be great. thank you so much...
