Hey Eve! I too am on Met (not Gluc) and I had one night of wicked runs after eating too much sugar-free candy. The day after I was pretty tired, dizzy etc. I also had some tiredness since I started taking it (I've been on it for a little ove a week). More than likely the majority of my morning-after-the-runs symptoms were from being dehydrated (according to the nurse). However, the other syptoms of feeling buzzed (like you'd feel from drinking a couple beers) is "a very common result from taking the generic Glucophage" (according to the nurse again). So, long story short, I'll be switching to Gluc tomorrow to see if that helps. I also cut my pill in half last night and I don't feel as bad this morning. So here's my question...are you SURE you're taking Gluc and not the generic? Hope this helps! --Jenn
