Jessica,
please do not be concerned about the mentioned lactic acidosis. It is
extremely rare and as far as my research can tell not known amongst
'healthy' women with PCOS taking it. Lactic acidosis, if it occurs,
generally occurs in people with end stage diabetes, with all of the
complications, such as severe kidney involvement / kidney failure.
give glucophage a good try and perhpas it, as well as lifestyle changes,
will be of benefit to you.
