Hey Lenora! I'm a new "cyster" also but your situation sounds a lot like mine. I thought for the longest time that I couldn't have PCOS because my periods were always regular but grew to be very long (10-12 days) with spotting a couple times in between, never missed a period, EVER. I have a history of cysts that resolve themselves. I also know that I ovulate because I have always felt the twinge of ovulation for as long as I can remember (always on day 14)...weird, huh? But low and behold after having my hormones tested along with other symptoms (acne, mild facial/body hair) I was diagnosed with PCOS. Unfortunately, I was diagnosed the month before we were going to start trying to get pregnant--go figure. A lot of the information I get off of this board (lots of reading) and from research articles. It seems as if quite a few doctors just don't know enough about it to answer all of my questions. Anyhoo, I just started Met a day ago and so far so good. Only mild tummy ache the first night. DOn't know if this answered any of your questions. Hope so! :) Jenn
