Melissa,
Another good book for your daughter to check out (if she is confirmed as
IR) is simply called "The Insulin Resistance Diet". It explains IN
DEPTH what she should and shouldn't eat and why. It also has a great
dining out guide and recipes. You can find the book on amazon.com. Hope
this helps!
