Previous message: Edan: "Re: Period after ovarian drilling?" Joanna, I don't blame you for being irritated with that dr. and deciding not to go back to him! The first one I saw for infertility (an ob/gyn) asked me if I had tried to lose any weight. Of course the answer was yes and then she proceeded to tell me that I shouldn't do the Atkins diet (which I had been doing). That just started things on the wrong foot! I never felt comfortable with her and felt like that office didn't care to help me - I was just too much trouble! My current dr. (who is an ob/gyn who treats infertility as well) was the one who made the PCOS diagnosis at my first appt. and has never said anything about my weight. I think that's just a personality thing; he's so kind! I was very worried about the fat that they would have to get through with the lap but all was well. Edan Next message: Sally: "Re: PCOS or not?"
