He didn't say anything beforehand about the doing the drilling. I guess it was better to do it then than have to have another surgery. Obviously since it was less than a month ago, I haven't experienced any long term problems or results. The surgery itself & recovery were fairly easy although I did hurt (not excruciating just dull pain) longer than I thought I would. Although I had ovulated on Clomid I wonder if there were hormonal problems caused by the PCOS and that's why I didn't get pregnant. All of the information I read after my surgery was very positive. Since I didn't know in advance, I didn't know enough to be worried. I hope that you are able to feel comfortable with whatever decision you make about the surgery.
