Polycustic Ovaries is different from PCOS. PCO just means that there
are cysts on your ovaries. For most women, this isn't usually a
problem. It's actually quite common. If your cysts are large enough
that they have to be surgically removed, then it may cause more trouble
for you.
PCOS is an endocrine disorder, thought to originate with insulin
problems. It comes with a whole set of symptoms including weight gain,
acne, facial hair, and infertility. It can be treated.
Hope that clears up the difference for you!
