Hey everyone... Well im 20 yrs old and this past june i was told my insulin was a little high and was considered a pre diabetic..so my doctor started me on glucophage 500mg 2 pills a day. I havent had a period in about 9mths and have never had one by itself ..I was always in need of a bcp. They used to give me Orthotrycyclin and it worked. They ran some tests and i have no Cysts on my ovaries and my hormones are normal i dont think they did a testosterone one but all others are normal levels. The last time i went to the doctor i saw the nurse cause he had to leave and she had me on Provera and i told her they didnt work and she was surprised. So she gave me Ortho and i asked if it was harmful and she said No. So far they havent worked i am surprised because they usually worked before ...but then again i never took them with the Glucophage. So is the Glucophage making them not work???? I'm scared because i dont know whats going on with my own body it seems i cant control it. The symptoms are Embarassing and it makes me feel depressed most of the time. I dont know what to do anymore..if they say my stuff is normal why isnt it working? If anyone has any info i would greatly appreciate ur help.
