Re: To Clomid or not to Clomid... kinda longFrom: anonymous (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 Jul 2002 13:34:12 -0500 (CDT)
Sonnet, My RE originally began me on Clomid days 5-9. But my cycle is pretty long (30-32 days) so we backed it up and I now take it days 3-7. It has induced ovulation for me, but not until I took three 50mg tablets per day. But I've NEVER heard of it being used to induce a period. And I would think starting randomly in a cycle wouldn't produce a "good ovulation". But after a year on clomid and met, my husband and I are beginning to look in to adoption. We can't continue to subject ourselves to this emotional torture. We've been trying total for over 3 years. And we're not willing to do injections. We are eager to start our family, whether it is biologically or through adoption. Best of luck with the job hunt and with the MD thing. I can imagine how frustrating it can be!!
