If you are having leg pain PLEASE don't ignore it. In Feb. my feet started swelling just enough to make it uncomfortable to walk. So my Dr. put me on some medication for the swelling and told me to take extra calcium. This didn't work at all. So I figured I could just ignore the swelling and go on with life. I did until the end of April when my legs started aching and cramping up. I was having cramps in both legs atleast 5-6 times a day. I would even get cramps in my hips. I went back to my Dr. and told him something was wrong and we needed to find out what it was. So to make a long story short I've been totally off my feet, no exercise period, gained backed 15 of the 20 lb. I lost.. Then July 22 I was told I had Polymyosits. Polymyosits is very rare and it effects mostly women over the age of 35. Its very frustrating because the easiest way to treat this is with steroids, but since im IR i cant take them. So I have to take medication that takes up to 6 mths to work.
