I am SO discouragedFrom: tangee (anonymous@obgyn.net)Tue, 30 Jul 2002 11:04:23 -0400
Hi folks, I'm fairly new to the list and new to treating my PCOS. At 38 I finally decided to really pursue the idea of getting pregnant. I started Metformin a few months ago and gradually increased my dosage to 2000mg a day. I have been on 3 rounds of provera, 3 rounds of clomid and to date I have not ovulated. I'm starting to get SO discouraged. I'm tired of the headaches (literally) the bloodwork (2-3 times a month) the vomiting, diaherrea etc. Next month I start the shots, which I'm told are very painful (oh yeah, I can hardly wait NOT). I know a lot of you have gone thru 50x what I have - what keeps you going? I'm normally not a negative person but right now .... Any source of encouragement I can gain from your responses would be VERY much appreciated. Thank you, Tangee
