Re: Northeast Ohio 'cysters'

There are so many in this area I think the CDC should consider this a disease cluster or something.

Two of my co-workers have been diagnosed and I have a sinking feeling I'll be the third, as I have not had a period for 100 days and have a strong family history of diabetes. I am really scared at the thought because I love carbs and cannot stay on an eating plan that involves restricting them. I just get really hungry.

Last year, I managed to lose 20 pounds on Weight Watchers and tended my points toward the higher-carb end of this. If the doc says I have this, I'll just try to cut refined sugars back but still have a little cereal and potatoes. It worked for me before, and if I have this now, it's a pretty safe bet I had it last year, too.

Blessings,

Di
