Hi Becky,

not everyone has trouble with glucophage and you may be one of those people. Other people only have mild side effects. Only some people have severe side effects, but even with most of these they wear off quite quickly. I went straight to 1500 mg/day and then to 2000 mg/day with no side effects or problems at all.
