Sonnet,

I understand your urge to have a child. I too want one so badly it hurts to even think about it. BUT, you can not self medicate. The medicine we take can reek havoc on our body's normal cycle. I know we don't have normal cycles, but you know what I mean.

If you want to try for a family go back to the dr. The one you trust. I think we sometimes feel that we know so much about our disorder and hear so much about our medicine that we know best. What we know is when something is wrong. Not trusting your dr. is wrong. Self medicating is wrong.

Example for prospective. My H started to take paxil. The the dr. switched him to Effexor. He wanted to keep the paxil to take it if he had an axiety attack. I explained to him that the medicine wasn't a tranquilizer. That he couldn't take it like that. Especially, being on the effexor too. I made him flush the paxil down the toilet.

You know you shouldn't do this without talking to one of the other dr.'s. Plus you didn't even want the clomid to begin with, and you aren't even sure if you and your H want to conceive. Please see the dr. again. I am not sure how many dr's are on this board, but even so I feel they are not in a position to prescribe us meds. Many things go into determining a dosage. Please do not determine your own.

Let us know what you do. Rochelle
