For some reason my gyn refuses to think that doing a hormone check is necesary.. it irritates me a lot.. but i haven't had a face to face with him about it yet... i just tried to get on done when i was taking the mood stablilizer that screwed up my estrogen so badly i though i was nuts! forutnately i am well aware of estrogen swings and i knew that was it .. i just couldn't get anyone else to care about it.. so i finally gave up on that medication.. it just wasn't worth estrogen problems.

yes, i know i can change doctors.. but he's really been great with the exception of this one issue and it boggles my brain. I don't get it.. why would he care.. its one stupid series and i hardly doubt the ins people re going to come unglued about it.. plus have have some issues going to that type of doc as it is... i just can't imagine changing .. its hard enough going as it is.. and i've been seeing him for more than 10 years now.

after visiting the hystersister site and thankyou for everyone that posted that one.. i now understand much more about the other estrogens out there and i'm going to see about trying a different one when i go back in oct.

i just had tsh series done and they were apparently normal though i'm going to get the report myself as they have always been borderline low and if they didn't do the full series i'm going back to doc and have him do all the tsh's as i have so many of the sign of hypothyroid it uncanny but again.. he doesn't seem to see the problem. i'm so used to them now i just put up with it.

thanks for listening. its not just anyone that can understand what its like to be estrogenless!
