Becky, I started taking 500mg of Metformin about 2 weeks ago. The first day I was like you, I felt fine....however...over the next few days I started feeling sick to my stomach and started having mild diarrhea. I can tell you one good thing though...if you avoid the carbs, the diarrhea doesn't seem to be a problem. About feeling nauseous, it was strange but seemed to subside when I was actually eating. I've been taking it about once a day now for 2 weeks and the nausea an diarreha have gone away. Just FYI. :) GOod luck!

Tangy ;)
