Glucophage and those pains in my legs/ANY adviceFrom: Barb (anonymous@obgyn.net)Mon, 29 Jul 2002 03:22:04 -0500 (CDT)
Been on the Glucophage now for two weeks.I am slowly working up my doses. NO problems= so far/so good. Now...what do I do for those pains in my legs?Neuropathy was ruled out,but not by a neurologist this time. The old nerve conductor tests were done a long time ago, this time the doctor performed simple tests like taking cotton swabs ,the tuning fork and my sensitivity is far TOO great.I feel everything. I also know that skin can be overly sensitive. I just feel everything. This is driving me insane. Will the Glocophage help.I am feeling extremely suicidal with chronic pain and discomfort. I seen a chiropractor on Friday as I had a cancellation with the physiotherapist. He gave me the scoop on the whole vertabrae and body's ability to heal.He said it is stemming from lower back, but did ask if I had diabetes or gall bladder disorder. He sensed that from one part in my spine. Anyone know of this?I found a surge of blood rush and got warm all over and feel more achy today. I'm at the edge of my rope.I cannot enjoy a day without severe leg pains especially when sitting. Someone else on this forum wrote me and mentioned it could be endometriosis, but I doubt it.I have no menstral pains. Anyone???please help!
