I haven't seen too much of this dscusion but I'm going to jump in and say that frequent or heavy periods with PCOS *ARE* common. Not as common as infrequent or absent periods, but they do happen. "Irregular" periods means just that - ones that don't come just every 28 days. There are lots of women on this board who have frequent or even constant bleeding, I hope one of them answers so you can chat!
