This is ridiculous. You don't have to have symptoms to have IR. You haven't been tested for Ir yet,so stop this flame till you can prove otherwise. In 1996 there was not much known about pcos/ir. I have no symptoms,yet am a borderline diabetic. I'd say find another doctor who will give you the test to determine IR. Your doctor certainly isn't on the ball.This syndrome can lead to problems almost overnight if not treated. No-one knows whether they have Ir or not till tested.It's innocent till proven guilty.

We're all entitled to our own opinions.Lets leave it at that.
