My Mistake...I got confused...my insulin was normal, I am not insulin resistant. My doctor talked about "metformin?" but said it wouldn't help, since I am not insulin resistant. I also have read, though, that PCOS is not caused by any one factor but, the symptoms need to be individually treated. For example, Antibiotic for the acne, Provera to induce Menses... I HATED Provera, it was terrible, I'd rather not have a period, going on 12 weeks without one. I still can't find anything that works for the hair growth. I am just so confused about this whole thing and I see that many women with PCOS are IR as well. So confused...
