Hi everyone, My name is Marcy, and I've been dealing with PCO since I was 13. I've had three kids, and after the pregnancies my periods have gotten a bit more regular. Now, though, all sorts of weird things are going on. Just as a bit of background info., I've been under a tremendous amount of stress for a little over 2 months due to losing the vision in my left eye because of a blood clot. I had to undergo a million and one tests and procedures to find out why this happened (at only 32 it's very unusual!). We never really got a concrete answer as to what happened to my eye, so I was put on baby aspirin every day to prevent any more clots. During the course of all this the stress got to be too much to handle, so I went on Paxil and Xanax to help deal with it. So I'm taking all sorts of meds. that I'm not used to (I'm usually the type that takes nothing, not for colds, headaches, allergies...nothing!). Anyway, about 2 months back I noticed that I was spotting for a few days before my period. Then, I got another period two weeks after the beginning of the last one. Then two weeks after the beginning of that one, I'm spotting again and wondering if I'm getting another period! I went to the gyn. last week and he said everything looked great. I told him about the spotting and he didn't seem concerned. Now, I'm waiting for the results of my Pap. I'm already stressed about my health, and this is making it much, much worse. Now I'm wondering what the heck is going on. Could this be all stress/meds./plus PCO? Has anyone ever had anything like this happen? The spotting is really starting to freak me out. I'm sorry to be all wacky, but I'm really worried! Any words of advice would be very welcomed! Thanks, Marcy
