A question about birth control pills and PCOS

I was diagnosed with PCOS right after I turned 17. I was immediatley put on Ortho Tri-Cyclyn. After a year of being on this, I developed severe migraines (these were so bad, I couldnt open my eyes and would stay on codiene and I couldnt go to work or school) and had really bad cramps. I talked to my mom about this, and she is unable to take birth control pills because of the same reason. So, I went to my doc and she put me on Micrette because she said it was the estrogen that was giving me the bad problems. Well, I was on these for about 4 months and it seemed like I would cramp for two or three weeks out of the month. Well, my doctor quit, so I went to another. She told me that it was the lack of estrogen that was making me cramp, because my body thought I was suppose to be starting my period, but it wasnt time. Now I am on Loestrin 120, and have been for 2 months now. I am not at work right now because I had to take codiene for my migraine. Last month was the same thing. I just read somewhere about how they are recommending treating PCOS w/Glucophage. I wanted to know if anyone is on this treatment, and if it works. I dont know how it will effect me due to the fact that I am hypoglycemic. I also want to add that I am not worried about getting pregnant right now because I am not getting married until next June. But I would like to ask if it would be better for us to have kids right off, or if we can wait like we want to. If anyone can help me out w/this it would be greatly appreciated! thanks!!
