I was on Gluc XR 500mg a day for about 3 months and I too had a period on my own once a month while I was on it...but I couldn't handle the side effects so I stopped taking it and haven't had a period since. Anyway, I was excited too when I started mine on my own and I understand how excited you must be!!!
