Questions about mild pcos, ovulation dysfunctionFrom: Joy (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 19 Jul 2002 20:57:14 -0500 (CDT)
I have not been diagnosed with pcos but feel like I have symptoms of pcos. I have coarse chin hairs growing and on my neck that I pluck out once a week. Rapid, hard to lose weight gain and infertility. I also have a sensitive to carbs (hyperinsulin maybe? though tests came out normal). And still struggle with acne. Anyway, can this really be pcos even though I have regular periods, except my cycles vascillate from 25-29 days? I also have every symptom of ovualtion but still can't get pregnant. Can I still have all these symptoms and still not ovulate? Can someone with pcos still ovulate, but maybe there is something wrong with the egg. I got pregnant a year and half ago after being 6 weeks on the atkins diet and losing 15 pounds. So, I am trying it again. I am sorry if I am rambling. Let me know if you need clarification. Basically, I am just confused because I have many pcos symptoms, yet symptoms of ovualtion as well. This makes things very frustrating and hard to pin point.... Thank you, Joy
