Re: PCOS, blood pressure and BCP

When I first began taking the bcp Demulen, I noticed that my blood pressure began to rise. Months later, after I added Glucophage to the picture to get rid of the IR I had for 20+ years, my blood pressure dropped back down to normal in addition to a lot of other positive things.

I came to the conclusion that the bcp was further aggravating my IR, and IR is what caused the rise in blood pressure. By treating my IR, all now is well.

Do you have insulin resistance, or possibly borderline, like most women with pcos, and if so, are you on any medication for it?
