Lori, The one thing that you can count in your cycle is either when you ovulated on the clomid, by counting backward 14 days from the first day of real bleeding, not just spotting,or if you use an ovulation predictor kit and know when you ovulated (within a day or so) and count forward 14 days. It's not always 14 days, give or take a day. It shouldn't be more than 15-16 though. Also, I was told that clomid can make the first part of your cycle a little longer (than those who have regular28-30 day cycles anyway!) The first part is before you ovulate as your ovaries are gearing up to release that precious egg. So that means once you ovulate, if you don't get pregnant your period should start about 14 days later. On your first cycle I would say lyou probably ovulated on or around June 11. It's hard to know about the first 1/2 of your cycle but I would estimate that you ovulated the second or third week you were taking the clomid (on the second cycle). So if you were pregnant I would think you could take a home test 3weeks after ovulation. Maybe around the last week of July or that next week take a home test. I hope this wasn't too confusing. Good Luck and I hope you are pg! If not, before the next dose of clomid, do some research. There are several ways to tell if your ovulating. GET A HOME OVULATION PREDICTOR KIT! A great book to read is Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler, MPH. Also your dr. should really have given you more help :-(. Also research the clomid. I blindly took it when it was prescribed to me without even researching it because I thought it would be the magic pill to help me get pregnant. I'm not saying it's bad or good, but you really should know a lot more about it. ie the POSSIBLE increased risk for ovarian cancer, the increased risk for a multiples, and the side effects like hot flashes (Ugh) and decreased fertile quality cervical mucus (and without the cm it's pretty hard to get those little swimmers up to that egg. I hope this helps!!!!!!!!!
