Claire, I am so happy for you. We aren't that far apart in our pregnancy (I am currently 8 and a half weeks). I wish you well. My doctor told me to stop taking the met...so I did. So far I have had no problems. She said there was no point to put meds in my body that I don't absolutely need. She also said that any met I did take before I knew I was pregnant wouldn't hurt the baby since that is what they give mothers with gestational diabetes. She is also testing me at 15 weeks instead of the normal 23 weeks for gestational diabetes...might be something you should do too (if you're not already). Please keep me posted with your pregnancy...I believe it will give me hope and confidance in my own. I am scared to death of miscarriage. Good Luck and Congratulations, Amanda Sue
