Re: possible pcos

My diagnosis was from a pelvic ultrasound which showed about five cysts or (mature eggs?) in each ovary. My periods are normal, however were irregular from the age of 13-15 but after that were normal. I have never been on birth control. I also have been having problems with IBS and saw a GI doctor for this. He told me that I have a funny shaped colon and the pain in left side was due to a redundant colon which eating more fiber would help the problem. Now I'm wondering if it is pain coming from the pancreas. I feel sick a lot and I'm tired. My gyn did not seem very concerned about the possible diagnosis of pcos and didn't give me a definate diagnosis but did order a fasting blood sugar test when I asked if I should get my blood sugar tested. I haven't had this done yet. The pain that I orginally went to my gyn for was a shooting pain in my lower pelvic area which was fairly strong. I'm just starting to wonder if all my problems are related. I also have mild chest pain, and tenderness in my arms and legs. My gyn told me to come back to him if my periods became abnormal or if I wanted to conceive.
