Sorry you are about to read some mild language- I must vent and I have to say that we are all adults here anyway talking about such off-color issues as clumpy menstration, sex and the like everyday... please just bear with me through my long-winded colorful rant! OMG I am so sick and tired of PCOS! I can't lose weight if I tear it off with a knife because it will only grow back over night! I am allergic to aspartame... I use Splenda made sodas and very sparingly use Splenda in food, and now everyone is flooding with ill-supported "Splenda may kill you" claims (by the way, is the anonymous informant a Stevia distributor or something!?!?!?)- I'll tell you what's going to kill me: PCOS and my big fat ass that is gonna one day break my heart literally! It may be true that Splenda isn't healthy, but where the hell is the research on Stevia and the other stuff?!?!?! And furthermore, where are the pre-made products with Stevia as their sweetner? Seriously, what can a woman with PCOS drink if not a diet drink with aspartame, or a rarer diet drink with Splenda (very rare I might add)... no one can seriously say I am supposed to live the rest of my life with only water!?!?! I can't drink fruit juice because of the natural sugars- nothing makes me gain weight like fruit juice and bread! I am ALLERGIC to aspartame so even if I did want to drink a "normal" diet soda, I CAN'T! PCOS living- when done properly- is a freakin pain in the ass and I am simply sick of this and can't wait until they can fix us... I wish I could trade in this jipp of a body because life sucks on days like these! Even if I could find Stevia and the other stuff, that would be MORE DEPRIVATION... I am living off Carb Solutions breakfast drinks, chicken, seafood, beef, cheese, salsa, carbolite chocolate and "ice cream," dried seaweed nori "treats", Splenda sweetened sodas, water, vitamins and medications at less than 20 carbs per day- screw more deprivation! OK- I think I am done... I just had to say all this... you know, sometimes I wish there was a mountain nearby that I could run up and scream from... then I rethink and remember that I am winded after running 10 feet! AHHHHHHH! Screw the freakin mountains too then!!!!!!!!
