Re: I know it is individual, but does anyone have guidelines for how low to cut carbs? From: Annaline (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 12 Jul 2002 17:05:50 -0500 (CDT)
Bannanas witch is my favorite food... is very HIGH in carbs. my dr yells at me for eating them :) most fruit is high in carbs so i avoid fruit... Check tomatoe juice vs V8... eat more salad personally i love cezar salad and if you cut up chicken and put that on it.. no carbs.. I cut out potatoes bad part is most packages of food have the nutritonal information on it.. as where fresh fruits and veggies don't. What my nutritionist told me for my diabetes is 45 breakfast 15 snack 45 lunch 15 snack 45 dinner and 15 snack low fat also is usually higher in carbs :( IE salad dressing this showes big time... I hope this helps....
