Hi Nav, I had my chin done as well as my upper lip. I did not see a lot in the way of results for several treatments. There are different lasers and one didn't work as well for me as the other so the doctor switched machines (he had two different kinds at his office). I am lucky to live in an area where it isnt as pricey to have it done as some other areas. I took SPironolactone for a few years and noticed some improvement after six months or so. But, not as much as I wanted. Also, it made me feel very lethargic and depressed..a feeling that went away upon discontinuation. I have heard it works well for others, though. For me, the hairiness has been the most upsetting thing about pcos. Even more so than the weight and other problems. Laser, for me, has been worth every penny. If laser hadn't worked, I would have started electrolyses next. If you dont have noticeable results after another treatment, I might try to find a different kind of laser. They are not all created equal apparently, and some are better than others for different skin types and hair colors/textures. It is too pricey a treatment to be disapointed in results, so I hope that you start having improvement. (took me about ten times to be almost hair free, but I complained and was switched machines) Are you going through a dermatologist's office? Most dermatologists can reccommend pcos specialists since they often work in tandem for treatment. (many times derms are the first to suspect when they treat acne and hirsuitism, etc)
