The mental issues for me are very, VERY bad when my insulin resistance is not being treated. But miraculously, when I am on an appropriate level of glucophage, they all just disappear and I get my self back. This is a big plus. It's what keeps me married to these meds even though I'm disappointed I'm not losing any weight - I wouldn't be able to cope without them!
