I have not heard that it is symptom of PCOS but it did start a while before I was diagnosed. It has gotten progressivly worse and really taking an affect on my normal life. I can't even drive my car anymore because it causes me to have attacks. No one else in my immediate family suffers from anxiety in fact, I am ashamed to even tell anyone in my family. My husband is the only one that knows. I will check with my doctor to see what he says. Thanks for the information.

>Hi, I just wanted to tell you that I suffered from anxiety attacks about 6 months before I was diagnosed with PCOS. I also believe (correct me i I'm wrong ladies) that anxiety is a symptom of PCOS. I was put on Paxil and told to go to therapy, but I knew there was more going on with my bo y than this doctor was seeing. Another thing to think about is that anxi ty is hereditary. I know there is no feeling in the world like an attack You simply can't explain it to someone who hasn't experienced one. I ha en't had one in a long time, but when I did they would occur at night. I wish you the best! Christie
